Amazon came through on their second attempt.  The first try went into the void and was lost somewhere between Germany and Norway.  Anyway, books now arrived!

“Cognition, Brain and Consciousness” has been on my wishlist for a long time.  It’s price in Norway (100€ or so) made me hesitate, but the price from Amazon made it a nice addon to the last batch.  Yes, it’s a text book, and no, I’m not directly following a course which uses the book right now, but the book is highly recommended reading in its field.

“Breaking the spell, Religion as a natural phenomenon”, from Daniel C. Dennett.  This is another biggie, a book I can’t wait to read.  I’ve read a good bit from Dennett previously, like “The mind’s I”, which he co-wrote with Hofstadter (of GEB fame).  Dennett was also interviewed by Charlie Rose (well, guested by the amazing Bill Moyers), and the interview can be found on YouTube.

“Distress”, from Greg Egan.  Duh, it’s Egan.

This’ll keep me for a while, I’m currently also listening to “Stumbling on Happiness” as an audiobook, Gilbert is a fantastic author and storyteller.  He has some great talks on TED.

This should keep my curiousity busy for a while, and get me back to writing as well.
