Keeping it real, Justina Roberts

Right, let’s be up front and honest about this, “Keeping it real” is fluff. Reading it isn’t going to change how you think about your life, or how you perceive reality. The first book in the “Quantum reality” series attempts to keep you entertained via a sexy, smart, strong and somewhat lost heroine. It’s a good read for sure, but somewhere along the line you can’t help but feel it’s all a tad skin deep.

I’ll admit I quite enjoyed good bits of the book. The setting is neat, the different realms taste and feel quite distinct, the cast isn’t half bad (and those that are half bad sure are great characters), but I’m still not sold. All that being said, pick up “Keeping it real”, read it. I can’t really stand white wine, but I can separate the good ones from, well, less good ones. If you like white wine, I might be able to make a recommendation. And if you like light reading with a fun and sexy cast, try “Keeping it real”, because for what it is, it’s damn good.
